Meet our Children’s Home Society of North Carolina Healthy Steps Specialists

Ilene and Kimberly are both child development experts, each with over 25 years of experience working with young children and their families.  They have held positions such as early intervention specialist, home visitor, preschool consultant, social skills and parent support group leaders, and outpatient therapist.  Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad welcomed the HealthySteps program in September 2019 to partner with our providers by offering support to our families with children under the age of four.  This support ranges from linkage to community resources, guidance around behavioral concerns, and monitoring child development, postpartum depression, and family needs assessments.
