Reelin’ for Research is a year-round fundraising effort benefiting the UNC Children’s Hospital and childhood cancer research. It culminates each year with a one-day fishing tournament in Morehead City, NC.  To date, over 7.3 million dollars has been raised to help LAND A CURE for childhood cancer!

Hands for Hearts, based in the Triad, is North Carolina’s leading non-profit organization in the support of children and families affected by congenital heart defects (CHD). Our annual Hands for Hearts Casino Night brings supporters, sponsors, and family members of those affected by congenital heart defects together for an amazing evening of food and drink, live casino action, and spectacular live and silent auctions.

In 1971, Youth Focus began providing group home and outpatient counseling services in Guilford County. Over the next several decades, the continuum of services grew to include outpatient counseling and substance use treatment, intensive in-home therapy, therapeutic foster care, medication management, residential substance use treatment, emergency and supportive housing, therapeutic schools, and residential psychiatric treatment.
